Tongues in the Garden (work in progress)

Tongues in the Garden is a play conceived as an artist in residence at Villa Lena Foundation in Tuscany. Inspired by research materials such as plant biodata from a plant midi instrument, E.M. Forster’s fantasy short story set in Italy called The Story of a Panic and recorded audio conversations with Italian Master Gardener Gigi Nencioni this play explores the garden as a site for metaphysical awakenings.
